The Thailand Quality Award – TQA is administered by the National Committee appointed by the Prime Minister of Thailand with the authority to set policy, approve the TQA criteria and award recipients, and to appoint official assessors. The Office of the Thailand Quality Award (OTQA) is established to administer office and management tasks. The Technical Subcommittee is appointed to review the TQA criteria and the award procedures, the assessor training courses and the process of recruiting new assessors, and review technical and academic aspects. The Promotional Committee creates public awareness by disseminate information and builds public relations to adopt the TQA criteria, and involves in fund raising activities associated with the study of market. The Board of Assessors conducts formal assessments and suggests award winners as well as providing a feedback report for improvement to all applicants. Once the official assessment is completed, the OTQA recommends the award winners for the approval from National Committee and recognizes the organizations at the world-class level.
